At MAGNA-TILES we’re on a mission to spread the joy of Meaningful Play to communities around the globe. One of our favorite ways to do this is by visiting our local community events and inviting kids and families to experience the magic of Meaningful Play with MAGNA-TILES sets.
Community Events
Community events are the heart and soul of any neighborhood. MAGNA-TILES is headquartered in the southwest suburbs of Chicago, which includes the Romeoville, Illinois community. We had the pleasure of attending Romeoville’s annual “Family Fun Night” and “Romeofest” this summer. We set up colorful booths filled with MAGNA-TILES sets, inviting children to join in the fun. As soon as the children reached for the tiles, their faces lit up with excitement. They started to build, experiment, and collaborate with one another, all while having an absolute blast.
But MAGNA-TILES sets aren’t just for kids. Parents and caregivers often get in on the action too! We loved hearing the stories of families bonding over Meaningful Play and working together to build their own MAGNA-TILES creations. There’s nothing better than seeing first-hand how generations come together to explore, discover, and learn through play.
Lasting Impact on Us
Our community event experiences have taught us that play is a universal language. Regardless of age, background, or language spoken, play has the power to unite people. We’ve had the privilege of introducing MAGNA-TILES sets to families who may not have encountered them otherwise, and it’s heartwarming to see the joy it brings.

At MAGNA-TILES, we believe that access to Meaningful Play is a fundamental right for every child and that community events are the perfect place to share the joy of Meaningful Play. Committing time and resources to our community through these events has been an incredible experience. We’ve seen smiles, heard laughter, and witnessed the power of play to bring people together.
