For some young students, something as simple as a backpack can make a world of difference. Students who lack access to school supplies often face challenges in their studies, impacting their overall educational experience.
Our Partnership with United Way
United Way is a global nonprofit organization that works to improve the lives of people in need through education, income stability, and health initiatives. One of their core programs focuses on ensuring that children have the tools they need to succeed in school, including backpacks filled with essential supplies.
At MAGNA-TILES, we firmly believe that education is the cornerstone of a child’s development. By partnering with United Way and committing to our community, we were able to provide 100 students with the tools they need to succeed academically.
Let’s Pack Some Backpacks!
Our team got to work assembling colorful backpacks with notebooks, pencils, and other supplies. Everyone in the company, from all departments and roles, came together with a shared goal: to fill these 100 backpacks with essential supplies for children in our local schools. Some carefully organized the supplies and stuffed backpacks, while others wrote encouraging notes to tuck inside the pockets.
Our backpack stuffing event reminds us of the power of coming together to brighten the futures of children in our community.
